The Texas Supreme Court ruled on July 1, that Texas could enforce the 1925 abortion ban still on the books. Texas Alliance for Life has informed us that "All 23 abortion facilities in Texas have already ceased offering abortions."

The Federal Drug Administration had determined that mail-order distribution of abortion pills was unsafe; that the pills need to be given in person. The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology had sued to remove the in-person requirement during the pandemic, and a federal judge ruled in their favor.
